I was disappointed with the China built guitars I tried, they would need some work including different pups and that would make this is NO-NO for me. ![]() I have been lurking around the Casino for a few months and it's really a difficult decision. A genuine 335 might be a better "investment". I you bet I want to play it before plunking that much money down. If that guitar does not have the mojo, there in only one option left and that is the genuine vintage model demanding 3-4K dollars. Next up would be a new model that seems to be ready to be released, an American made (with US pickups) and that might be the gating item. There are several versions around that are between 12 dollars that might be better but I have not been able to find one on the wall somewhere that I could try out. So that takes me back to wandering around the local music shops, checking out CL and Reverb and Ebay. So, I had the opportunity to play a USED Korean built and that was a good guitar.unfortunately I did not pull the trigger quickly enough. I want to buy one that SOUNDS RIGHT and PLAYS RIGHT without having to gamble that an upgrade would get me what I want. ![]() Click to expand.I have been lurking around the Casino for a few months and it's really a difficult decision.
